Mrs. Mary Faust, 84, 406 E. College St., died Saturday morning in Culver Hospital. She had been ill for several months. Her parents were James and Ida Collins and she was born Feb. 2, 1878 in Opalaca, Ala. Her first marriage was to John Black and in 1924 she was married to R. B. Faust. Both preceded her in death. Mrs. Faust had lived in this community since 1923. She was a member of the Alvarado, Okla., Christian Church. She is survived by two sons, James and Jewel Black of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. John Moody and Mrs. Elmer Wood, both of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Clara Kelly of Earth, Tex.; a brother, Terry Collins of Sanger, Tex.; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
